א סופגניות קנויות צריכות כשרות.
ב. סופגניות אפויות ברכתם המוציא וברכת המזון.
ג. אם מכינים סופגניות אפויות בבית ויש בבצק שיעור חלה, יש להפריש מהם חלה בברכה.
ד. סופגניות מטוגנות ברכתם מזונות וברכת מעין שלוש.
ה. אם מכינים סופגניות מטוגנות בבית ויש בבצק שיעור חלה, יש להפריש מהם חלה בלי ברכה.
ו. סופגניות חלביות צריך לסמן אותם שהם חלביות.

Hilchot Sufganiyot
1. If you purchase sufganiyot make sure there is a Hechsher.
2. Baked sufganiyot - say Hamotzi and Birkat hamazon,
3. If you make baked sufganiyot at home, and there is a shiur of challah in the dough, take challah from the dough with a bracha.
4. Fried sufganiyot - say bracha of Mezonot and Al Hamichya.
5. If you make fried sufganiyot at home, and there is a shiur of challah in the dough, take challah from the dough without a bracha.
6. Chalavi sufganiyot should be marked as Chalavi.
