Dear and beloved community,
In recent days we have all been following reports about the possibility of an Iranian attack.
It is worth thinking about ahd understanding our feelings upon hearing these reports.
Every emotion we feel is legitimate and should be respected and given space.
At the same time, we must strengthen ourselves with confidence in God, especially in our generation who have been blessed by God's grace for the State of Israel and heroic soldiers.
We are in the days between the redemption of Purim and the redemption of Passover. In these two holidays, our enemies' fear of the people of Israel and God is described.
In the Book of Esther it is said "...וְרַבִּים מֵעַמֵּי הָאָרֶץ מִתְיַהֲדִים כִּי נָפַל פַּחַד הַיְּהוּדִים עֲלֵיהֶם".
And in the exodus from Egypt, in the splitting of the Red Sea, it was said: "תִּפֹּל עֲלֵיהֶם אֵימָתָה וָפַחַד בִּגְדֹל זְרוֹעֲךָ יִדְּמוּ...
And this is the truth, the fear should be the part of our enemies, not ours. We don't need to be afraid. The Almighty is with us and we are sure and believe that even if God forbid we have challenges on the way to redemption, "נצח ישראל לא ישקר", and Israel's people will win.
At the same time that we should not be afraid, we should behave responsibly and carefully, and listen to all the instructions of the Home Front Command and the instructions of the municipality.
At this point, the instructions are to continue behaving normally. You should leave the radio on silent, and leave your mobile phone on.
Of course, each family should decide what is best for them and act accordingly.
With God's help we will have a quiet and happy Shabbat! Great victories for the people of Israel!
"Do not be afraid Israel, do not be afraid for you are not a lion's cub, and if a lion roars who will not be afraid"
Shabbat Shalom Umevorach!
