‍Davening and Shiur Times - זמני תפילות ושיעורים

‍‍Please note: the main minyan on Shabbat morning will begin at 8:00, instead of the usual 8:30.

Please note that next shabbat (Shabbat Vayera, Nov 8) is the Shul Kiddush to honor our Simchat Torah Chatanim, and in order to better accommodate this, the upstairs (8:15am) and downstairs (9:00am) minyanim will be switching starting times (upstairs will start at 9:00am and downstairs will start at 8:15am).

‍שימו לב: המניין המרכזי השבת יתחיל בשעה 8:00  במקום בשעה 8:30 הרגילה.

בנוסף שימו לב: בשבת הבאה (שבת פרשת וירא, 8/11/2025) יהיה הקידוש לכבוד החתנים של שמחת תורה. כדי לתאם הכל בצורה הטובה ביותר, המניין המרכזי (8:15) והמניין למטה (9:00) יחליפו ביניהם את שעת ההתחלה. (המניין המרכזי למעלה יתחיל בשעה 9:00 והמניין למטה יתחיל השעה 8:15).

Rav Sobol is now beginning a new Chabura for men in the writings of Rav Kook in Hebrew - each Sunday at 9:30 am at the shul.

‍Weekday Daf Yomi shiur in the shul downstairs every weekday morning (Sun-Fri) at 7:30am.

The men’s Gemara shiur in English. Learning Sanhedrin. Every Friday morning after 8:15am Shacharit in the shul.

Shiur in Hebrew between Mincha and Ma’ariv, every day from Sunday to Thursday, by Rabbi Ari Cutler in the shul.

Chevruta learning - לימוד בחברותא

‍Rav Sobol has asked to share this message, an important and helpful initiative by a member of our kehillah:

Want to learn with a chevruta (Torah study partner) but don't know anyone interested?

1) Add your name to the Google Doc (link below) for people looking for chevrutot. You can include what you're interested in learning, how often you would like to learn, and the desired level of learning.

2) Check the document to see if there is anyone else on the list who wants to learn who looks like they might be a good fit, and contact them!

3) When you are no longer searching for a chevruta, take your name off the list (so people don't call you unnecessarily, and to preserve the effectiveness of the list).

4) If a particular chevruta doesn't work out, that's okay - you've both gained by trying. And try again!

2) בדוק את המסמך לראות אם יש מישהו ברשימה שרוצה ללמוד שנראה כמתאים, וצור איתו קשר!

3) אם מצאת חברותא, אנא הסר את שמך מהרשימה (כדי שאנשים לא יצרו איתך קשר ללא צורך, ולשמור על יעילות הרשימה)

4) אם חברותא מסויים לא מצליחה, זה בסדר -- שניכם הרווחתם מהניסיון.  תנסו שוב!
