Shavuot and Shabbat Parshat Naso -שבועות ושבת פרשת נשא

‍In an effort to continuously improve our tefilla experience, we are trying out a side-by-side men/women format for Shabbat Tefillot downstairs. This includes Friday night and Shabbat mornings, and will begin this shabbat, Isru Chag, Parshat Naso.

In addition, in order to better cope with our space challenges downstairs, the teen minyan this Shabbat will take place in the beit medrash (with the front most wall closed), and the main minyanim downstairs will take place in the remaining 2/3 of the social hall.

This Friday night and shabbat, men can enter from the double doors in the social hall, or the rear of the pergola. Women can use the double doors in the social hall, or the doors in the hallway.

Siddurim and Chumashim will be made available in the rear of the social hall for men and women who enter there.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding, while we continue to work towards providing the best tefilla experience for our community.

‍כדי שנוכל לשפר את חווית התפילות שלנו, אנחנו מנסים פורמט של גברים/נשים זה לצד זה לתפילות שבת למטה. זה כולל ליל שבת ושבת בבוקר, ויחל בשבת זו, אסרו חג, פרשת נשא.

בנוסף, על מנת להתמודד טוב יותר עם אתגרי מקום בבניין שלנו, מניין הנוער בשבת זו יתקיים בבית המדרש (כאשר הקיר הקדמי סגור), והמניינים הראשיים למטה יתקיימו ב-2/3 הנותרים באולם למטה.

בשישי בערב ובשבת, גברים יכולים להיכנס מהדלתות הכפולות בלובי, או בדלת האחורי בפרגולה. נשים יכולות להשתמש בדלתות הכפולות באולם, או בכניסות במסדרון.

ניתן למצוא סידורים וחומשים מונחים על שולחן בחלקו האחורי של האולם לגברים ונשים שייכנסו אליו.

 Rav Sobol's Parsha Shiur for Children

will take place immediately after the 8:30 minyan  

 

Children's Groups

•  3-5 Year Olds in Rabbi's Classroom
  
• Grades 1-2 start in Mamad, go to park at 9:50 for Parsha, game and kiddush
• Grades 3-5: if nice outside in park.  If not, back of social hall
  

 

Children's Group Schedule

• 9-9:10: 2 leaders in Mamad, give out Shabbat cereal
• 9:10-9:20: Settling in, talking, older kids go to park, counselors coming back for late kids until 9:20
• 9:20-9:35: Davening
• 9:35 - 10:00: Group Games
• 10:00-10:15: Parsha and parsha games
• 10:15-10:25: Older kids in park, younger kids story time
• 10:25-10:30: Kiddush, in a circle, give out snacks
• 10:30: Drop off kids at shul

כיתות א'-ב' מתחילות בממ"ד, יוצאים לפארק ב-9:50 לפרשה, משחק וקידוש

כיתות ג'-ה': אם נחמד בחוץ בפארק. אם לא, בחלק האחורי של האולם למטה

 

 

תוכנית

9-9:10: 2 מנהיגים בממ"ד, מחלקים דגני שבת

9:10-9:20: מתמקמים, מדברים, ילדים גדולים יותר הולכים לפארק, יועצים חוזרים לילדים מאחרים עד  

9:20-9:35: תפילה

9:35 - 10:00: משחקי קבוצה

10:00-10:15: משחקי פרשה ופרשיות

10:15-10:25: ילדים גדולים יותר בפארק, שעת סיפור לילדים צעירים יותר

10:25-10:30: קידוש, במעגל, מחלקים חטיפים

10:30: החזרת הילדים לבית הכנסת

Rav Sobol's Halacha Shiur in English takes place on Tuesdays after the 8:15 minyan in the shul.
