I hope, B”H, that you are doing well.
We are still in the middle of Operation "מגן וחץ”.
We all daven to Hashem that our soldiers will be successful and He should protect them and all the citizens of the State of Israel.
Baruch Hashem, our community is large, and especially on Shabbat, where there are hundreds of people in the building.
After checking with the relevant authorities in the municipality, we did not receive special instructions to change the usual activities, and therefore, with Hashem’s help, we will hold the tefillot and shiurim on Shabbat as usual.
At the same time, we recommend maintaining extra vigilance, especially towards the children who come to shul.
If a siren sounds in Modiin, you have a minute and a half to enter a protected area.
The shul has a Mamad, but it cannot accommodate all of us.
The recommendation is for people to be inside as much as possible on an upper or lower floor and to stay away from windows as much as possible.
Those davening upstairs please move towards the bathroom and lobby area behind the women's section on the upper floor.
We ask that you all walk carefully without pushing other people.
In all cases, stay as far away from the windows as possible.
After the siren, you must stay in the protected space for 10 minutes
If there is an alarm in the middle of the Shema or Amida, if possible, one should go silently to a protected area, and continue davening from the place where you stopped.
And even those who had to stop and speak in the middle of the davening, continue from where they left off.
With Hashem’s we will have what we read in this week’s Parsha:
וְנָתַתִּי שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ וּשְׁכַבְתֶּם וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי חַיָּה רָעָה מִן הָאָרֶץ וְחֶרֶב לֹא-תַעֲבֹר בְּאַרְצְכֶם.
וּרְדַפְתֶּם אֶת אֹיְבֵיכֶם וְנָפְלוּ לִפְנֵיכֶם לֶחָרֶב.
וְרָדְפוּ מִכֶּם חֲמִשָּׁה מֵאָה וּמֵאָה מִכֶּם רְבָבָה יִרְדֹּפוּ וְנָפְלוּ אֹיְבֵיכֶם לִפְנֵיכֶם, לֶחָרֶב".
