As we approach Chag HaPesach, I want to express hakarat hatov on behalf of the vaad and community to everyone who has helped create an amazing pre-chag atmosphere in our shul. From the inspiring shiurim and learning opportunities- culminating most recently in our 14x4 minute (almost kept to time!) Divrei Torah session, to our Feed-a-Family chesed project, the teen ‘Taste of the Hagadda’ learning and breakfast with the Rav, and our children’s programming to prepare the shul for Pesach and to engage our younger children - Baruch Hashem, our shul has been a very busy place! Our youth directors, committees and volunteers have been hard at work to make all of this possible, and we thank them for their dedication to our community.
I also want to thank Hylton Peimer and the building and design committees for upgrading our chairs and tables downstairs, and for their work in recalibrating our air conditioning system in the main shul and upgrading more of our lighting system. There are many other people and committees working behind the scenes to keep our community active and engaged.
Your dedication and commitment is what makes our community so special.
Lastly, and most importantly, I want to thank Rav Sobol for his leadership, and for going above and beyond in making himself available at all hours of the day to answer all of our questions regarding halacha and kashrut.
Warm wishes for a Chag Kasher V’sameach.
